Senior HCD and UX Capability for a Commonwealth Regulatory Disclosure Service

Supporting complex public-facing digital services through senior HCD capability, stakeholder engagement and reusable design artefacts.

Client

Australian Government Agency.

Program Context

Regulatory disclosure and compliance services.

Service Area

User Research and Human-Centred Design.

Engagement Type

Key personnel supplied for UX leadership, service design, user research, accessibility and design practice uplift.

The Challenge

A Commonwealth agency required experienced HCD and UX capability to support a high-visibility regulatory disclosure service operating in a complex legislative and compliance environment.

The work required more than standard UX delivery. The agency needed senior personnel who could work with product, legal, policy, registration and delivery stakeholders, interpret complex requirements, and shape practical service design artefacts that could support both immediate delivery and longer-term design maturity.

Pinaka’s Role

Pinaka supplied senior HCD and UX personnel with the experience needed to operate in a sensitive government delivery environment.

The supplied personnel contributed to user research, service design and UX leadership activities across the disclosure service. This included developing research artefacts, supporting repository design, creating decision-support artefacts for early release features, and presenting design options to senior stakeholders.

The personnel also supported internal design practice uplift by contributing to standards, governance approaches, artefact templates and more consistent UX deliverables across the broader delivery environment.

This engagement demonstrates Pinaka’s ability to provide senior HCD and UX personnel who can add value quickly in complex government environments. It reflects a key strength of Pinaka’s labour hire and consulting model: supplying people with the judgement, communication skills and practical delivery experience needed to support sensitive, high-stakes digital services without overstating Pinaka as the sole delivery owner of the program.
